Well before the guy I like knew I liked him we made a flirting eye contact, we talked, smiled, laughed and he would be so funny and nice and joke around with me and not get shy to talk to me and he would smile at me most of the times I was in class with him. Now that one of my backstabbing friends told him I liked him he won't even talk to me, I feel hurt that he keeps ignoring me. One of my friends had asked him if he was ignoring me and he said he wasn't, but he doesn't show that he cares.
I have tried to talk to him, like one time I gave him two sticks of gum in class, since all the kids in my school love to chew gum. Well he smiled at me and said thanks. Another time I said I like his hair and he said thanks, but didn't even smile. I knew something was wrong with him so I asked his friend what was wrong and he said that him and my crush were in a huge fight and I asked what happened and he said "long story," I do now know what was wrong so know I am lost. He rarely even talks to me. Any help?
Well, it seems to me that your "backstabbing friend" may have told him more than the truth. But I must first ask the question. What made this friend be identified as backstabbing?
Don't forget that guys can be very slow when it comes to realizing that a female is into us. I say that because that friend you have may not be as back stabbing as you think. There is a chance he doesn't know you like him. Most guys become very confident when they find out a girl likes them.
So just take your time. Its not like he's the last guy that you will ever have a crush on, nor is he the last guy to have a crush on you. Good Luck
Just because you two like each other, doesn't mean that you are involved with one another. It is just a fleeting thought, a passing joy. There is nothing to tie you two together. If something in his life is bothering him. Sorry girl, you take the back seat. His crush really isn't that important, as prominant as it may seem to you.
Keep your flirt on him and things will be fine. He has issues now, but they may blow over soon, playing him right back into you.
Don't call your friend backstabbing. She was trying to help you. If you never confront those that you love, you will be doomed to be lonely and lustful forever. It may have been (probably was) embarassing to you to have him told that. But it was all for the better. Flirting and crushing can only take you so far. Take a chance.
If you are really into him, find some way to contact him outside of school, and make the first move.

Was so good and was like perfect and he always would smile at me and him and his friend are over with each other and he's not mad about that anymore. Something similar happened to my friend - her crush started ignoring her and shrugging her off and when she got his friend to ask him why, she found it was because he lost a lacrosse game. Stupid, much? Maybe the fight with his friend is really getting to him. If you don't think that's what it is, maybe he's gotten really shy because he found out you like him. Maybe he's having doubts about whether or not he should believe your friend. I know a lot of guys who can flirt seamlessly whenever they want but as soon as I return the flirtation they get all stiff and shy. That could be what's "wrong", too. Good luck with figuring him out.
