How many people out there can be ''just friends'' with the opposite sex (male/female and female/male) and not be involved with any physical involvement with them?
Absolutely. I have plenty of guy friends. No problem, and no physical involvement beyond the same greeting hug I get from my female friends.
One of them I'd learned along the way had carried a bit of a flame for me for years, but was respectful and smart enough to never have actually tried anything. Friend crushes are pretty common anyway. We're very good friends, and he remains one of my husband's best friends. You need to be mature enough to deal with your feelings if they're not appropriate.
My best friend is a guy and I used to like him but know after getting to know him, I love him only as a friend. I talk about more things with him then I do with my "girlfriends". its great to have a guy to talk too.
Some of my guys friends I am just friends with, at least most of them. But my best friend on the other hand madly I'm love with him only make out but would marry him when I'm done with college. Depends on the physical attraction I guess and the chemistry there.
