I would do the most unspeakable things in order to have women ask me out. OH do try me, selling my soul to the devil in way too unimaginative, I can do better. A man like myself represents the majority of the male populace: not tall enough, not all that handsome, not rich(i'm ok with this actually, lots of poor folk out there), not race-specific(being mixed is hell), and old(38). Add to this the feminist man-hating movement and men just cannot gain a woman's interests much at all. Because women have told me off so many times because of my physical deficiencies, I have not asked an American women out in almost ten years. so for a pretty women to ask me out directly?

Depends on the guy, if he likes her or not. Its a bit like a girl ask a guy out, if the girl likes him then its a turn on, if not then yea. Maybe even scare the person away.

Heck yes I'd like it! I'd be flattered over it. At least I'd know she had some kind of crush on me even if I didn't wanna go with her. I certainly wouldn't belittle her.

Honestly, I had the same confusion as you did.
But after 2 years of building up my courage, I asked my first boyfriend out. I MADE the first move it was sooo nerve racking but you know what? It was worth it. Till this day, we're still together. So I suggest you that you ought to do it too. :D
