Part of it is the difference in the way men and women communicate. We tend to read between the lines A LOT. And a lot of times, especially around your age, they expect guys to read between the lines in the same way they do. It's taken me a long time to get to the point where I can mostly say what's on my mind. But, especially during high school and for a bit afterward, the assumption that you'll understand what they MEAN, not just what they SAY, is pretty beat into them by other girls (believe me, it's amazing and ridiculous what some girls will read into another girl's actions).
Maybe they're afraid that if they speak they're minds then someone might not want to hear it and hurt them and make them feel bad of what they just said
What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
I love cute dresses. Gladiator sandals are totally a staple for me. (My parents FINALLY got me the cute d & g ones that I just NEEDED. I'm not spoiled. all the cheap shoes were getting very old!) So flowy patterned dresses are definitely a favorite, but they must have a hippie preppy look. If that's possible. Laid back I guess? Mischa Barton/ Lindsay Lohan like. BUT NEVER FUR =]
How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
I have naturally curly (ringlets lol) hair that's a dark dark dark! brown. Okay, I'll just say black. I often wear it straight though with a very side part. If I leave it curly one side is clipped back into a bow. I only wear light mascara and some foundation if I really need it (just to hide my freckles. the "cute" bridge of my nose ones) but really I have VERY tan skin so minimum makeup.
