Guys, what is the best way to give you a reality check? Obviously calling and texting like a crazy person and trying to talk about feelings doesn't work, so how do we get your attention and keep you interested. Does displaying confidence really make a difference? Girls put in opinions too.
I was thinking about reality checks the other day, not pertaining to dating, but my thoughts about them could still be applied.
There are so many cliche tricks and behaviors that people use when approaching relationships, I think most people just feel like they are going through the motions when someone uses said tricks/behaviors on them, they sort of "shut off" their enjoyment of what is going on. It doesn't feel like a real event happening in their life, so they won't be so thrilled it is going on.
So, to break away from the norm, I would suggest not living life by societies standards. The best way to keep a man's interest is to be an individual. Take any relationship at its own pace, and treat each guy you are with as a clean slate, let him show you who he is instead of pegging him (as being a particular guy) right away.
You may need a reality check too, though. Calling and texting won't get someone to have feelings for you if they don't already. Confidence is very important for attracting the right attention. Just make sure to have the confidence that finding the right guy for you will happen, and don't try to turn every guy along the way into what you are looking for.
Confidence plays a huge role. They aren't going to want to start out dating a girl who shows low self esteem, talks about how much plastic surgery she wants, etc. They want a girl that knows what she wants out of life, is confident in who they are, and knows how to show it without being stuck up. I know because all my friends are boys and they always piss about the stupid things girls do. Lol.
K I tried reading your comment but I've never seen that kind of short hand b4 and couldn't get half. And I don't think anyone is generalizing. I'm talking about my guy friends and she's talking about her experiance. As for my guy friends complainingabout girlsit includes whinning when a guy burbs or something. Like that long drawn out Ewww that they do. The whinning when a guy makes a crude funny joke because they think its gross, whinning about how ugly they are so they can fish for compliments and so on - 3 days ago
I like this guy and I told him through an email and he simply said we should be friends. I feel he's hiding his feelings and well see he's in all ap...
