So I met this guy from a friend of mine back in November, I was instantly attracted to him but wasn't sure if he as single or not. Fast forward a couple of months, I added him to Facebook and about a month later, he randomly messaged me privately asking how my Christmas and New Years went.
For the next month and a half, we messaged each other back and forth long messages about anything and everything, it seemed to be going great, and I thought he was interested in me, like what guy would take the time to message LONG messages to a girl he barely knows with nothing in it for him?!?
Only thing was that we didn't see each other in person during this time. I finally get his IM address and I added him, and the first few times conversation was great, only thing was that he was hardly ever online.
So after a bit of a lull, he asked me one day to go the the grand opening of a new nightclub in town, this was the beginning of us hanging out, but only at clubs/ bars. So for the next two months, we continued to only see each other while being out, and every time he was drunk. He would seem flirty and interested but it was always hard for me tell because he's just a flirty guy by nature. Two weeks ago, he asked me to come out to his going away party, he had friends over at his place and then we went out to a club afterwards, this time he was being close to me, clearly he was drunk again, we both were, but I keep reading into the signs, and I keep thinking about it.
Now he's moved away to a city two hours away, he told me to come visit him, and I promised him I would, but I'm really not sure if I should still be pursuing him. Do you think he was interested in me from the get go? Should I tell him how I feel or is it too late?? HELP!!
He's within driving distance and seems interested. I don't know the person so I can't say what it is exactly he's interested in, but make no mistake he's interested in something. Because he's so close it isn't too late. Just make him promise when you he'll be sober when you visit him, that way you can get a better idea of who he is off the inebriations.
It is NEVER too late. As long as he is still breathing on this Earth you have a chance. Go for it. It might end badly, but hey, that's the nature of relationships. Don't let a potentially good thing pass you by!
I believe he is interested. I am not sure to what extent. I would see if you could step it up from Facebook and IM to phone calls. Drop hints and see if he goes for it. You are always going to want to know so you might as well say something. Even if you both agree that you shouldn't act on it at least you will know.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Er... right, my ideal first date would be a nice meal somewhere nice. This would hopefully be a good setting where we could chat and get to know each other. We could then go somewhere for a walk to carry on the conversation. The night would then end with me walking her home and with any luck a plan for when we could meet up again
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date would probably know my life story *blush*. No, she would know exactly what she wanted to know about me. She would hopefully notice that I'm not a guy that expects sex on the first date and that I really enjoy listening to what a girl has to say
