I am already 29 years old, has had 2 relationships, the last one ended like 8 months ago. And now I feel I am ready and yearning to have a new man in my life. I just can't seem to find him. I am not searching but I am waiting. I don't think I am desperate but I feel so alone at times. It's just so sad.
Im in the same situation you are, but 10 years younger. :) I have found that if you are looking for something, you'll never find it. But when you are distracted, it comes. Just like my remote for the TV. :(
Well, I think rather then waiting for that special someone. You should spend your time with family and friends and just have fun. Go to the club, go have a party, go to the movies, sleepover at someone's place, join a team, go camping, go prank call people, get drunk. Lol. Do anything you want! Because you are not getting back any minute that you have already spend waiting. And trust me. Once you are out there having fun and enjoying life. That special someone will find you and you won't regret it. I mean if you aren't really out there getting to know different people. Then how are you suppose to find your guy? A random person isn't just gonna ring your door bell one day and be like "Hi, I am your dream guy. ". As much as we wish. Reality check. Not gonna happen.
Maybe you need to go out more and enjoy life before you meet that special one trust me he's awaiting for you somewhere

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
Jeans and a super cute baby doll tee, I'll usually wear like converses or something. I like to keep it simple and comfortable.
How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
I straighten my hair, and my make up is very natural. Light brown eye shadow, but sometimes I use a little more, and sometimes I don't wear any at all. But black mascara and eyeliner is ALWAYS a must have.
