I really want my ex back, because I think we are meant to be together. So I was thinking about taking him out to eat at a place we always planned to go. Is this a good idea and if so how should I do this. Should it be a surprise or should I just ask him?
You should ask! I know it can be uncomfortable, but you don't know if he feels the same way. What if when you surprise him and he doesn't want to go, that would be more embarrassing!
Yes, it's a good way to try and get your ex back. I applaud you for doing something constructive, rather than pining away for this guy! Ask him if he is free that night, then tell him what you had in mind. Keep it low key so he doesn't feel pressured into a relationship, and don't surprise him (unless he's the kind of guy that loves surprises).
