So I am in relationship and currently living with my Girlfriend at Uni campus, we have 2 rooms but most of the time we spent in her's, so after we start dating we start to cook properly and eat a lot not just a like a lonely student who doesn't have time to eat or is to lazy to cook something.
so now after few months my Girlfriend is a Little bit bigger, is not a big problem for me yet, but my parents would not like that, and in summer we will go to meet them , so actually 1 and a half month left.
my girlfriend the she will lose weight with a diet , but one day she eat just a little bit next day same amount as me, end result 0 improvement :( so what can I do or say in NICE way off course to motivated her or something like so she will take it really seriously , because I am afraid to be harsh or something like that .

Girls please give me some advise !! :)
cheers

I'm sorry but she is YOUR girlfriend, not your parents. even if my parents didn't like my boyfriend for any reason it would make no difference to me-yes I want to please them but at the end of the day if your really serious about this girl you should be able to do anything for her. is it worth hurting her feelings just to please someone else?? I put on nearly 2 stone there (and at only 5 feet tall it shows-from 8 to 10 stone) after my dad was diagnosed with cancer-not once did my boyfriend make the slightest comment. I have now lost the weight for MYSELF and no one else. love is supposed to be unconditional and if like you say her weight is not a big problem to you-then what is?? and also the use of the word 'yet' speaks volumes-you have to love her for who she is-yes looks are important for physical attraction but the only way she will lose weight is when she decides she wants to for herself. personally if I were you I wouldn't say anything to her-accept her for who she is and if your parents cant-well that's their problem.

Why would your parents care what your girlfriend weighs? Has she put on so much weight that she's unattractive and you're ashamed?

I don't know if you want a guy's opinion, but an easy way is to start working out yourself and invite her along. I don't mean have her doing bench press and all that heavy duty lifting workout stuff. Have her run with you, have her do things that are for carido, they will still help her burn calories and you will be able to work out together.

Join a gym together, make it more of a fun thing, and maybe even some friendly competition on who can lose more weight and eat better. Or sign up for some kind of exercise class together like a dance or martial art class that focuses on fitness as well as the art.

I'm a fitness buff and soon to be personal trainer, so girls I'm with know they have to stay in shape so I've never really had this problem, in fact a lot of girls end up wanting to go to the gym with me so I can show them how to lose inches in spots they are self-conscious about.

As long as you do NOT mention her weight actually bothers you, then it shouldn't offend her if you say "we should start exercising more", and ALWAYS include yourself in these activities unless she specifically says for you not to. I hope this helps!

Guys: Do you really fall in love with a girl?
lvrgirl2011 asked 2 days ago

Yes, I've been in love.

No, I've never been in love.

I'm scared to love someone.

LOVE is an over-used word that doesn't have meaning.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I would suggest a small hike on a peaceful trail followed by a nice home-cooked meal, made by me of course, either on-site or back at one of our places. After dinner is over and the conversation has died the date would end with a kiss on the hand and a walk to the car.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date would know what I am about, who I am, a little about what I do and hopefully whether or not I am a candidate for a second round.

Would you date me?
