My point is that if you are in a relationship wherein you feel the need to monitor his communication because you fear he's cheating and you two are emphasizing the "I don't think anyone else is attractive" thing then neither of you is secure in yourselves. Therefore, you seek it in each other. And that is bad news...Hopefully he's not the type but these are a few ingredients for an emotionally or physically abusive relationship.

Love is fun, beautiful, happy, etc. with a few obstacles and headaches along the way. It is not obsession, jealousy and insecurity.

I'd say break it off with him, focus on yourself and find someone new when you are standing strong on your own two feet.
