There's this guy I like at my school and he's just my friend but he doesn't really notice me that much. He's also really popular and has a lot of friends that are girls. What can I do to get his attention and take our relationship a step further?
If you think he doesn't notice you much, he probably doesn't like you.....yet. You are going to have to put in some work to make him realize he likes you before you make the first real move.
Work on getting him to pay attention to you considerably more...and then make your move.
If you cant get him to notice you more from your effort, then you should probably give it up.
Popular guy huh...He used to getting attention then, and not really giving it. Pretend you don't like him. Don't trip or gravel over him like most other girls probably do. Be the one he has to work to get attention from. never chase a guy, it should always be the other way around.

I think you should spend time with him more. talk to him and make him realize that you are girlfiend material. DFo some flirting, some looking and some complimenting. Maybe even challenge him to a game of hoops to spend some quality alone time.
