As the proverb goes "Fake it to make it" you really need to copy all the actions , of what YOU think shows Confidence.

Now, there are some fundamental approach too. First thing is to build Self-Esteem , and that can be built by Discipline. Learn to say "NO" which are taking up your time and concentrate on the goal of the day. If you start achieving things slow and steady. U'll have a better self-esteem and in turn will boost your confidence.

Secondly, in your free time try remembering your past where you were in total control and were happy.

Hope it helps

Confidence is very difficult and it's something I still wrestle with daily. Here are some suggestions I've picked up over the years. Try them all out and see which works best for you.

1. Pretend to be someone who you see as confident, like a character in a movie or television. Your behavior will eventually affect your thought process. I may seem like you're acting phony, but the "fake it till you make it" approach does yield results for people.

2. Baby steps. Do something every day that scares you. Don't jump into the deep end of the pool and try to be a social butterfly all at once (unless you're trying approach #1). Just try striking up a conversation with someone you don't know. You can even start simple and try talking with store employees who have to be nice to you.

3. Mental reinforcement. Just look in the mirror and keep telling yourself that you're confident. Keep saying it until you believe it. Write it down a bunch of times if that works better for you. This method didn't work for me but I know people who have been successful with it.

Hopefully one of these strategies will work for you and if not, I'm sure other people will see this question and make their own suggestions.

Advice: Best Tips For Dieting
Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 19 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I walk up to a girl and say 'Giant polar bear', she responses 'Huh', or 'What', then I go 'It broke the ice'. This one never failed me. I always get a smile back. Even when I come across with someone who answers with 'It broke the ice', I throw another one until I come up with something she doesn't know. This line always follows with a counter question about the success rate.

How do they typically respond?
As I said, somehow this line always works. It is witty. As the conversation goes a bit further, just as I am introducing myself, I say (very cheesy) "Name is Bruce, but you can call me tonight". This gets a puzzled response at first and a smirk -if they don't know it already-, but if they do, I squint my eyes with a big smile :)

Do I have the right approach?
