Why won't he ask me out already?

Well I think If you like him that much but you only know he doesn't know that you like him a lot.

He still might not know how you feel about him. See if there's a way you could give him the clue that you feel the same way.

So why would you want this guy if you say "I want a guy who knows what he wants and goes for it." He obviously isn't doing this. But if you really can't ask him out, then have your mutual friend do it for you two. Or you could write him a note telling him that you like him leaving your phone number at the bottom telling him to call you if he wants to talk about it. This isn't asking him out, but it is giving him all the green flags to go ahead and ask you out. This always worked for me in high school : ) They would always call within 5 minutes of getting home, and ask me out. Maybe the problem is that he is still unsure of how you feel, and doesn't have the guts to tell you how he feels. Take a chance and go for it. It's not going to be the end of the world if it doesn't go the way you wanted it to, but it probably will by the way you describe the situation.
