My Girlfriend and I were each others first real love and she said she has to see other people to see if I was really the one she wants to be with for the rest of her life. She told me to see other people to. Do girls really have to do that or are they scared?
By the way her parents went through a bad divorce when she was little. And she has told me before that she doesn't want me to find my meant to be person after we get married.
She may just be scared of committing. I have a friend, her and her boyfriend have been together for 5 years. Two times they took time off from the relationship to see other people. He's made a promise to marry her, before. They just want to be sure that they are meant to be together. They are each other's first love and it's the sweetest thing. The truth is, she probably wants to be sure that you are the one, which judging by the sounds of it, you are.
I definitely can relate to that. I'm with my first real love now. I'm 19. He's about to ask me to be exclusive and I'm scared. Maybe those experiences shook her up. Be a little more understanding.
I think if you find love at an early age it will always be in the back of your mind...whether or not this is the best out there. How do you know if you don't have another relationship to compare it to? If this is what she really wants to do, and she finds someone else...then just be glad it happens now and not years from now when you're married. And you don't want it to always be in the back of her mind, wandering if she's with the right guy.
What age did you fall in love for the first time? How did it happen? How long were you two together? And, if you don't mind answering, why did it...

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
Are you O.K.? Because heaven is a long fall from here.
Bond. James Bond.
What's your sign?
How do they typically respond?
They usually give me that "what an idiot" look. And then I laugh and let them know that I am aware that the line is bad, but it's worse to not meet someone that you are interested in. Typically I get a positive response to that; everyone wants to do well in the dating game and the ladies know that even the best players miss a pitch or two.
