This guy and I have sort of been flirting nonverbally for awhile and not much talking has been going on. He's always looking at me and I've heard from people that they think he likes me.
The other day I walked into class and it was just the two of us at the table and a couple people on the other side of the room. I wanted to talk to him but got really nervous and he's really shy so we just didn't talk and it was somewhat awkward... we both just got out our books and stuff until my friend came in and then I talked to her... then later that day he kept making eye contact with me but it sort of looked like he was mad at me.. his eyes were all intense and bigger than usual..
I'm confused and worried that he will take that to mean I don't like him. Help!
Update: I do know a lot about him and he talks a lot to me and my friend and this other kid at the table we sit at.. he's just never talked to me personally. He's actually really funny. Yeah I am attracted to his personality too not just his appearance.

Well I'm in the same situation, I'm a shy boy, who sometimes talks to a girl, but I'm extremely shy, most people just don't think I am because I have big muscles and such, but if a guy is staring at you, and you know him, and you don't have any crap with him, basically he's checking you out, or thinking about you, I do it all the time, and when she stares back, since I'm so shy, I just look down or something, but give him a smile, and tell us how he reacts... I do the same as you as well... I like the girl, but awkward moment of silence and I just end up doing my work anyways, a smile can do many things.. try it out :)
Does, this guy, know who you are? Does he knowing anything about you, or have you ever spoken to him before in your life? Or do you guys just look at each other?
Try talking to him, because obviously, if you don't talk, it's just attraction. You may not like the guy that you get to know, so you might be wasting time by looking at him. Next time you guys are relatively close, just be like, hey. Then a conversation will start flowing.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal first date would be a romantic dinner at a decent restaurant. Don't want to show too much but don't want to cover up a lot, either. Something cute and very catching.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date will know that I laugh at everything. I'm a very nice person. Easy to get along with. Very lovable. A funny person.
