I'm a sophomore in high school and he is a junior....we met in our spanish class this year and are on the swim team together. He will IM me whenever he's online, and will sometimes text me saying "you looked good today". He helped me through my breakup with my boyfriend a few months ago and is overall a sweet and perfect guy. The problem is, we don't really talk to each other during school much because we don't have any other classes/frees with each other other than spanish. we do acknowledge each other though almost every time we see each other at school.
Recently I realized that I like him, and so I started making a few physical moves like: I hadn't seen him for about a week during winter break and finally we were both at swim practice and I gave him a hug. ill touch his arms and stuff sometimes and he'll often lean against me during spanish if we're sitting next to each other.
I have a horse and ill text him when I'm at the barn sometimes, telling him my horse is "saying hi". he seems to take an interest and will say things like "give him an extra carrot for me", and he seems to take an interest in coming out to see him sometime.
Bottom line: I really like this guy. Sorry for writing such a novel but I want to know....do you think he likes me?
I think he might. Try playing the "So what'd you think about me? " game the next time you're with him :P definitely gotta watch his reaction. Everyone's different though so I'm not sure how he'd react
Dayyyumm girl! What do you think? First your older then him! Second he likes something you like just for you! Third he touches you in a flirty way! There are way more signs! Trust me he is in love with you! Take the chance and ask him out! yourself.
O sorry Musta read it wrong! =] But still guys like girls that are younger trust me Cuz like I've never been able to go out wit guys in my class but for some reason the guys who are older I always go out wit! I don't know y - 2 months ago
Question Asker
I know, me too. my only serious boyfriend that I have ever had (16 months! eek) was a year older than me. he made all the guys in my class look like babies! maybe that's why I like the older guys....not too much older, though! :) - 2 months ago
There is some potential here . Some major potential . Just keep doing what you've been doing but try not to rush things . What's meant to be will happen .
However, if you think enough has gone on you could, if you're too afraid (and I don't blame you) to tell him upfront you could suggest that he come over and help you with your Spanish or perhaps use a mutual friend and help him flirt with the idea that you may be interested .
Awww. I'M GOING THROUGH THE SAME THING =] But Mine is a Little Diffenent. Yes it sounds like he likes you for sure and keep doing that flirty stuff some guys are slow and don't get it good luck
I'd say yes, too. I have like the same exact situation except he's not a swimmer but I am and we flirt in spanish. Funny. Anyways I think he does. Good luckkk :)
I totally thinks he likes you if he let you hug him. If he didn't like hug you back or just stand there he didn't like you but I'm guessing he gave you a hug back and if he writes like you say he does he definitely likes you.
*so today I saw Dru(the dude I like) fir the first time in about a week. at first we just ignored him and then he called me sexy and just flirted...

He smiles at me sometimes and he walks me to the car and sometimes doesn't say much. I'm so shy that I get so I can't even ask him anything either!...

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
We go to a small, funky little coffee shop that is out of the way and quiet. I'm wearing an old tee that I got from Japan, jeans, and my chucks. We sit and talk for no longer than an hour, then part our ways and head home.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
They should know my interests, the kind of music I like (punk), my passions - philosophy and dance, my political stance (left-wing), a bit about my family, what I'm taking at university.
