Why do guys ignore us?

Or they could just know what they are doing. Popular guys tend to learn 'the game' earlier so my guess is that they are trying to get your attention, but trying not to act too interested, which can be a difficult thing to do as a teen. Talk to them and find out if there is anything there, but be careful because you may get your heart broken. They could well be players with too many chicks around already. I hope this helps, Kyle

Either they're not attracted to you, or they're too busy to bother with women. Guys have to keep their focus, especially on a sports team. If you're thinking about women or talking to them, you're going to lose that focus pretty fast.

It could well be that they have specific rules not to flirt with the events team, or something along those lines. When you're in the type of environment you're in, rules and regulations come into effect, so is not as simple as asking---how come such and such won't talk to me? Maybe you need to do some digging and see if the sports team has any rules concerning interactions with those in your work. Also, do these team members travel a lot? Maybe they also know better than to get involved because they are traveling, or maybe the coach has told them that if he sees any hanky panky going on, then they will be cut from the team. So they know better not to go around flirting and lose their concentration....

This may be for a couple of reasons, they may just see you as friends or just might already be taken. Sometimes you have to make the first move with guys, because we can be very dense, and not get any hints.
