I'm not quite sure how to put this, but do guys really mean the things they say when they're around their friends? Or is it just them acting and talking big to impress each other? Y'know what I mean, all the comments about girls' body parts, the obscene images, the rude jokes. Teenage and college guys in particular.
Usually in longer relationships, guy talk is just there to act manly in front of each other. We would dread it if our guy friends thought we were going soft. Personally, when my girlfriend is around I don't hide my 'soft sensitive' side just because my guy friends are around. I could care less of what others think of me. True love doesn't get embarrassed.
It really depends on the guy 'talk' your referring to. If it's the crude, perverted, hurtful comments that bring a person down then you have to ask yourself, "is that the kind of guy I want to be with?" Next time he does this you should just wait until you two get a moment alone and ask him what's more important. You, or him keeping his 'rep' amongst his guy friends. If you aren't asking this question about a boyfriend, then you can just assume that the guys who your thinking of as immature, not really boyfriend material. So yeah I would just ignore it because you won't get that far in a relationship with them type.
Don't give up though. There are guys who actually respect girls and their feelings. Hopefully those are the type of guys that you are looking for. Your time is more valuable than some childish immature teenage/college guy.

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
With my friends I just wear my fun clothes I usually wear. I love my true religion jeans, they dark skinny jeans, so I'd wear those, or my dickies or volcom shorts. I love shirts that stand out, & no one else will be wearing. band shirts, shirts from tv in the 90's. something different. & I love jewelery that stands out. for shoes my black chucks, sandals or flats. my style is just unique, and loud
How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
My hair is usually always down. I swoop my bangs over my right eyebrow/eye, and its always straight. way blonde hair don't wear much make up, and when I do, I go for the natural look. hardly any foundation, a tiny bit of eyeliner, and I have way long lashes, so I use way black mascara to have them stand out even more, and look cool. I never really wear blush or eye shadow its just too much for me
