I texted my ex guy friend this morning to let him know that my number had gotten changed last night. He told me to go look on my car when he texted back. He left a chocolate rose and truffles on my car and said that when he gets back from Orlando on Friday that he needed to talk to me. Yes this is the same guy that claimed he fell in love with me. I do have a boyfriend and he knows that. Wow what a surprise! Advice please?
Update: I have not been out or intimate with him. I've been with my man for a year and 5 months. He texted me last week and said he was falling in love with me. I'm lost. This is out of the blue

Sounds like he may be a weirdo. How well do you know him? Maybe things have changed, but I personally would have a very hard time coming off as sincere if I were to tell someone I loved them through texting (by the way, I have never texted anyone in my life - call me old fashioned, but I prefer paper and pen). It could be he is just trying to get you to have second thoughts about the guy you are with (maybe he knows something you don't - be prepared for possible bad news) and is paving the way for a more serious relationship with you in the future should you and your current split up. An "ex guy friend"? Have you been intimate with this guy before or actually been on any real dates? Did the fact that he put this stuff on your car come completely out of the blue or have there been other signals of his intentions? Is your "boyfriend" a real boyfriend or is it another "guy friend"? How, when and why did he claim that "he fell in love with you". We need more info to really help you out here.
