I want to get my ex to like me again. We are slowly become friends again although he hasn't forgiven for a mistake I made in the past yet. I'm wondering how to get him to see me as more than a friend. Although thing is I live in another state. I don't live anywhere near him.
Depends on how many mistakes you've made and the magnitude of those mistakes. He probably just doesn't want to get hurt again. Now, since you live in different states and nowhere near him, you might as well forget about it. If I were you, I'd learn from my mistakes and make sure they never happened again. But that's just my opinion, I'm Just A Random Guy.
Be sincere with him and show him remorse for the mistake that you made. Working on a friendship after a breakup is hard if you still harbor feelings for them. I would work very slowly at gaining his trust and friendship. After you are comfortable, then come clean with your feelings. But I would not rush into telling him you want him back. It will scare him off. Then you are back to square one.
