I've heard so many different terms used for the person that you're currently in a relationship with. Terms like boyfriend/girlfriend, significant other, lover, partner, etc.

So what's your favorite and why? Does it depend on the person/nature of the relationship, or do you typically use the same word each time?

I never use the same nickname again for the women I date. Sadly that won't ever be something they are aware of that I do for them :)

My favorite one was "Pookie". I think I got her a Garfield greeting card once, and his little teddy-bear named Pookie was on the envelope. It was just something cute I said as I gave her the card, and she liked it so I kept calling her by it.
