So. My boyfriend and I have known each other for over a year now. And we have been going out for 4 months. But he is so so so jealous! I'm always around him or his parents at the ice rink and I can't even talk to another guy without them saying that I'm flirting and him getting all pissed off at me. I feel like he has pushed every guy friend that I had away from me. I hate feeling this way. But then if I get mad at him when he talks to another girl he gets so so so pissed off at me and he starts flipping out. I'm not the flirty type. I'm a friendly, hyper, happy, and smiley person. And every person at the ice rink knows me and they know that I'm with my boyfriend. But my boy and his family totally think differently. What should I do?!

He is insecure! This is normal, he has something he feels is great and doesn't want anyone to take you away. Reassurance is good, at first, but once he becomes assured that no one can take you away, he will lose the appreciation he once had for you and begin to take you for granted. So while you can reassure him, don't go too far that he takes you for granted. Good luck!

I think a lot of people are like this at a young age. They just want you and they want you to only want them. It's an insecurity issue. The only thing you can really do is reassure him that he is the one for you. Don't try to make him jealous that will only make things worse and it is also cruel.

Reassure him you only want him , he feels like your his as bad as that sounds guys tend to think that way and if he knows your such a outgoing gal he is probably scared another guy sees that and wants that. He just doesn't want to lose you. Reassure him he won't. Maybe include him in convos with the other guys so that he sees there just mates nothing more.
