Ok one of my best friends is a guy. I have known him for a little over three years. Him and I talk mostly all the time when he is not working. Well we are always flirting and we can talk to each other about everything. Well recently I have been starting to like him? Like more then a friend. We get along very well and all but there is a few problems. He is best friends with my ex whom I am still friends with, he has a baby with my ex best friend and he kinda has a little something. (like an STD).
Well I know I couldn't ever really be with him be with him at least no that way but I still have very strong feelings for him. I don't know how to stop this I know there is no actual way but I just need a away to stop thinking of him that way!
Wow, that's really intense. I know you should stay true to your feelings but I really think you should back this one down until things calm down. He;s probably got a lot on his mind with the ex and the baby and stuff and he really needs a friend around to listen to him and make things ok. You and him seem to have something really special it sounds like and I think that when it kinda all cools down that you should go for it and tell him how you have been feeling recently toward him. You guys are best friends after all, and maybe something more soon, LOL. If you really want to forget about him, you have to open your mind and see him as only a friend and nothing more. You should play the field a little and focus on other parts of your life right now, other then him. I'm not saying create space between you but maybe a little breathing room for you to think your feelings over with and what decision you will make at the end.

I been thinking and it seems him and I are better off as best friend, instead and like you said maybe some day if it is all supposed to be that way we will be together but I shall just have to wait and see. Ya no problem LOL. I can't say that I know how you feel, cause that kind of thing has never happened to me, but I think that a true friendship is worth more then all the money in the world. And I think someway when it all cools down you and him will have a future together as more then just best friends, but it'll just take some time. It's a killer waiting but the finish line is just around the corner. LOL.

Hey about my best friend the guy I was telling you about well ! I don't know what his problem is he is ignoring me and even though it is against his own judgment he has gotten back with his sons mom and now he got her and her mom a house and is paying for it even though he knows they both are moochers ! I can t believe he would go and do this ! Everybody has warned them that he is going to get screwed over but he doesn't listen . So right about now him and I are nothing I guess ! Okay, wow, that's a really big step for him, isn't it? I dunno what to tell you other then his life is so complicated right now and he might not even realize how he's hurting you. I think maybe, he's trying to keep you out of it, it seams like. He might feel pressure for his girlfriend about staying away from you cause she feel threatened by you and him. I really think he doesn't want to loose his son and doesn't know what to do with it. Let it cool for a while and tell him how you feel. :) smile - 6 months ago

Well I am 17 and he just turned 18 young yes but it is really complicated ! I don't know him and I are really nothing at the moment he decided to go against hi better judgment and rent a place even though he know he is going to get screwed over by them ! Well, there is nothing wrong with liking your best friend. But, if you know already that you can't be together then I would not pursue it any further. If you think though that you can over come all of these problems? Friendships turn into some of the best relationships. So, he is friends with your ex, you are too. Make it a rule not to talk about your ex. So, he has a baby by your ex best friend. Make amends with her and be part of the baby's life too. Now, he has a little STD? That is a problem. But, you are only 16 so wait. If its what I think it is? Use a condom and they have drugs that keep outbreaks from happening. All in all, go with your heart. It never lies.

Well as long as you don't have sex with him then there should be no problem with you and hi going out. The baby might get in the way, and also all the stuff about the ex best friend thing, bt if you like him enough you can overcome it
