Can this be true? I just moved away from my home town and I can't stop thinking about my boyfriend or my exes. If I'm not talking to my boyfriend then I'm talking to an ex. But, if I'm not talking to either I fall into a horrible depression where the sunniest skies couldn't cheer me up. I'd rather not feel that way, but it almost seems like I NEED it. Oh, and on top of that. I'm crashing on my friends couch till I find a place so it's not like I can bring a one-nighter home either.
It sounds to me like you haven't found a guy that you truly love. If you find a guy you love, you will have less feelings like that. I also think that you might be yearning for a relationship that is meaningful.

Sweetie, it really sounds like you need to take a look at yourself and start appreciating who you are. You don't need another person to make you feel complete, be it a boyfriend, an ex, a friend, a mentor, whatever. This time that you've moved on to may be just the thing to get you kick-started in your life.
Sit down and make a list of 7 things you don't like about yourself. Then, for every negative thing, write down 3 positives. It may take you a while, but make sure you get it done, because you'll see that you have the ability to stand out and shine in your own right.
And here's a secret, most guys really respect a woman who has a good self-image. If you tie your identity up in who you're attached to or who you're talking to, or who you spend most of your time with, you may be insecure about yourself. One of the most attractive things to a man is a woman who is complete in her own self-image, comfortable in her own skin, and who possesses a healthy level of self-esteem.
I'm not saying that you are, but it actually is possible to get addicted to falling in love. You know those people who fall in and out of love very easily? For some, it's because they become addicted to the chemical in the brain that is released when falling in love. But no, you can't be addicted to someone.
I don't think you're "addicted", just yearning for true love, but it's hard to find if you don't really love yourself first. I know, guys are so hot though!
You are just a little homesick, and need someone you know will talk to you. That's why you are talking to your ex's a lot. You know you can count on them. Don't worry, you don't have a problem.
