my ex broke up with me 7 months ago,(cause I was too needy) and I didn't know anything about him until a week before my birthday (he sent me a song, as a birthday present). We've seen each other last month, (and no, nothing happened). He started to text me since then everyday. and so do I. We saw each other last week, and we talk about my college problems, he seemed kind of confused). Everything was ok, we continued with text messages. But. last message I received from him was on Sunday morning. Should I text him? I don't know what happened and don't know what he wants, (friendship or a relationship). Why he has returned to "my life".. help!
Update: i sent him a message an hour ago.. "how's your life going?".. he hasn't answer yet.

You need to call him and talk to him about what he wants from you? It sounds like he hurt you, so let him know that that is what the breakup did. Now the he's texting all the time, you need to know if he wants to be friends again. Don't mention getting back together. Let him be the one who mentions that.
If you were too needy in the relationship, why don't you try to just be his friend. Try to focus on working on yourself and why you are so needy in relationships. Perhaps it has something to do with abandonment. You can go to a counselor and deal with working on that. You an tell this guy that you are doing that, too if he turns out to be a good friend again. But if him being in your life bothers you, you need to cut him loose- and work on yourself.
