I know I probably won't get a lot of true answers but, are you guilty of treating your significant other badly? Do you do things to irritate them on purpose?

Take a vote and if you really want to be honest let it all out.

I'm the opposite and I guess very rare type. I'm too nice and too sweet when I'm with a guy. I think I should become more of a bitch to them though. Guys seem to like that more. I always end up getting hurt so I guess being loving and caring to a guy is bad.

I did. Not the Jerk but I did treat my ex husband horrible at times. Yes, I did it deliberately. It was towards the end of the marriage and I just hated everything about him. Even when he would breathe..He hated when I would eat cereal in bed at night while watching TV..So, even if I did not want any cereal I would still do it to bother him. I was mean and feel bad for it.

Yes, very honestly I feel like I have said and/or done things some what intensionally that hurt his feelings, but at the same time I wouldn't have done it without already being angry. I tend to be short tempered at times, and I am very sensitive about certain subjects. But also to be truly honest I treat my boyfriend at the moment better than any of the other guys that have been in my life.

Also another note, I know for a fact that we as human beings tend to treat our loved ones sometimes a little more harsh than anyone else, because we know that they won't easily leave us, and that they are typically more understanding if we get angry or upset and fight.

I don't think I've ever treated a significant other badly assuming you discount that I don't dish out bullshit and am honest when I disagree/don't like something even if I know it might hurt. I tend to tease people playfully a little, but I don't think it has really irritated anyone to date. It is quite possible I have taken guys I have been with for granted at moments, or snapped at them rather than at the cause of my frustration on a bad day. but I feel like those are all things you expect in any human relationship with friends or family even and are somewhat natural in a limited quantity.

I voted for "A", only because it seems that we often hurt the one we love without meaning to. I would never hurt my girlfriend on purpose!

I do at times. And generally on purpose. I tend to work against my instincts (which tend to tell me to be nice and sweet toward her all the time, since I care and appreciate that she's seeing me), but after failing so many times because of being too nice, I make a point of being caustic and indifferent on a random basis.

I don't like it, but it's like women get bored with you if you treat them well, but eager to please you if you don't. Guess you're damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Question Asker How does that work out for you? Unfortunately, I'm finding it to be the same way. - 6 months ago
Answerer Seems to keep more excitement in the relationship for her and lets some of the tension out (sometimes you get an earful! ). But making up is good. I focus on stupid things or hang with my friends and avoid picking on her for things she worries about. - 6 months ago

Yes, at times when I am pushed I know quite well that I am irritating them on purpose.

It pleases me to please others. And I love the female species and I want the best for them. So I always treat a girlfriend with respect and affection.
Sounds soppy, but that's the way I am.

Does it ever annoy you that you're single?
random-ren asked 18 days ago

Yes, most of the time! I really wish I had a boyfriend/girlfriend!

A little, because I feel left out.

Not really...

Nope! I have too much fun being single!

What's there to be annoyed about?

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Something simple. I'm open-minded so we could do whatever. Dinner, a movie, both, go to a park, bowling, etc. I would dress comfortable, not necessarily formal because that usually isn't comfy. The date would end with me walking her to her door or car and saying thanks for the date, maybe a slight kiss on the cheek and go from there.

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
That I am a nice guy who is easy to be around and not afraid to show he cares.

Would you date me?
