I was talking with my ex again today. We've been talking consistently for a month, and on/off for the past 3 years since our breakup. We spent a weekend together and things were great. I asked her if she wanted to make it official, her and I. But she said no. That she still wasn't sure that she wants me. We've had sex, we've discussed everything from not talking to each other to marriage. How come we can't be a couple? And how long should someone wait to commit?
If she doesn't know after 3 years then I would try to stick it out a couple of weeks. She might be afraid of getting hurt and hasn't let go of the breakup. Until she does that, she won't commit.
I don't know why you want to commit to her anymore, I mean yes you might've had a great time together when you went out, but now its pointless. If she doesn't want to commit to you anymore than forget her and your past relationship I'm sorry for sounding mean but its true. Don't wait for her, you'll end up nowhere if she doesn't want more than a friendship!
I know how you feel. Give her some space. As a matter of fact give yourself some space. Don't talk to her so she'll feel what she is missing and she'll probably come running back. OR (get ready for this - this is the answer that might inflict more pain on you) she has moved on and is trying to let you know that she doesn't want you anymore. But what do I know, I'm Just A Random Guy.
