Ok, I understand that he's shy so he isn't talking to me all the time, but I think I can't take this anymore because every relationship needs some form of communication.
What do I do? I'm not trying to forcefully open him up, but I just want him to know that I need some interaction from him too? Then again I don't want to appear as needy or scare him off.
Tell him that you crave to be able to communicate with him. If he is shy, be gentle, and try to word it as such that it does not come across as critical. Shy people will self implode when you appear to criticize them.
He will open up when he starts to trust you. Start a conversation by What's up, and end up talking about your funniest memory. That way its personal but not in a really emotional way. Then after even a week or 2, if he gains trust fast he will be talking to you like he has known you forever. That is when you know you have a good relationship! :]
