It was revealed yesterday that NY Governor Eliot Spitzer was a frequent client of expensive call girls (thousands of dollars per session! ) Spitzer apparently tried to hide these trysts from his family and the public by using a false name and various bank accounts. If you were Silda Spitzer (the Governor's wife, fellow Harvard Law School graduate, and the mother of their three teenage daughters) what would you do now?

Agree to stay with him, but only on your (very tough) new terms, where he operates on a (very short) leash (and perhaps also demand that he pay you $5,000 per hour for your services going forward)
Stand by your man, tell him you love him despite his flaws, and try to rebuild your relationship
1) Everybody THINKS of doing it. Let's face it. Only a fool would disgrace his wife like this, not to mention his children.
2) $80,000! Okay. I have friends who have spent $500 on "wild nights" at strip clubs - but for pete's sake - $80,000 on some whore?! That's money for your children, it's money for your retirement.
I have NO respect for this Spitzer; he's a prick. A man can't be a real man, unless he takes care of his family. Point Blank, that's my Sicilian talkin'. A Man's first duty is to God, then to his wife an children, then to himself, not the other way around. This man (if you can call him that) is upside-down.
Don't get me wrong, sure, I look. But that's it. Maybe once in a while I shout "looking good from behind, Momma", but that's that. No man in his right mind would betray his children like this.
What a rat! I voted for "A". A married man with 3 teenage daughters, buying a $4300. 00 call girl? Even if he can afford it, its a rotten thing to do to his family. What a moral degenerate! His wife should take him to the cleaners!
I voted A. He sounds shady and like he would definitely do it again given the right opportunity, and I wouldn't want to be around to see it happen again. That is a HUGE violation of trust for me and I would kick him to the curb. Of course...easier said than done though. It's hard when you really love someone. So this is me, speaking from the outside.
I agree he would do it again. But I suspect it is because he cannot control or stop himself. Those high priced call girls were likely giving Mr. Spitzer something that his wife would not provide, and that he badly needs. And he'll want it again, f'sure - 5 months ago
