I'm closer with my mom now that I'm in the Navy and in a different state lol. She loves my bf and calls him her future son-in-law because well, she's never met him. She never liked any of my past boyfriends but I've always been a bit of a rebel lol
I have a great relationship with my mother. She is like one of my best friends. I would say it doesn't affect my relationship with my fiance at all. If they didn't like each other then I could see that being a strain on both relationships. But they all get along and I love then both. It all works out well. How cliche is that?
OOOOh man! Definitely my mom is not the same mom I knew when I was a little girl. She use to be really strict. No joke, we'd get beat in public if any of us did something stupid. There's 3 of us (its all about power in numbers), so as we got older we wore her down that she's become a very diluted version with relapses in memory because she swears to my 4 year old niece we never got hit. I don't look at my mom as a "best friend" so I don't share secrets, etc. Not to be a jerk but I live my own life and I respect her way too much to make her ever feel like she's done a poor job over some wrong choice I may make down the way. She raised us with strong family values, teaching us integrity and dignity so when I'm in a relationship I'm very supportive in helping my boyfriend achieve his goals and proactive to be apart of that accomplishment.
My mum is my mum--we don't have the stereotypical "best friend" relationship, we don't talk about personal/sexual subjects and we give each other the space we both need to maintain a healthy relationship. That being said, she's one of the smartest women I know, and if I have any sort of philosophical conundrum, I go straight to her.
My boyfriend is actually incredibly similar to my mum personality-wise, although obviously I have a more intimate relationship with him. It is nice to have a less emotional, more rational partner, and I think my mum helped me to realize the practicality and allure of someone a little more stoic.
The relationship with my mother is sort of a roller coaster ride. Sometimes we're the best of friends and other times we're worst enemies arguing over meaningless things. However, we're still family and I know that she loves me very much. We support each other.
Well my relationship with my mother does not affect my relationship with my boyfriend. She supports me on my choice and goes out of her way to remember his name (since she usually forgets my friends' names). Though sometimes she intimidates him whenever he comes over, he still can be himself around me even in my own house.
For me I hate my mother, she used to be very mean to me and my sister, growing up I got to see her every now and then. Does it affect me and the guys I date, yes I'm just like her I have cheating on my ex a few times, I have trust issues, etc - 5 months ago
Well. We have our on and off days - sometimes we get along at other times we don't and it greatly affects my relationship with a guy - if she disapproves which is most of the time let's just say its not pretty.

What is your favorite outfit for a night out with friends?
Short skirt, tall boots and tight shirt. Usually black, teal green and red colors. I don't want to look like a Christmas Decoration but I love teal and red.
How do you style your hair and do your make-up?
I've got brown hair and I wear it up in a twist or a lot. It's really long so when I wear it down, I straighten it and it takes forever.
