Please elaborate as to why, and how far, you would or would not be willing to sacrifice yourself for love.
Update: Mar28; Interesting. Eight women would sacrifice themselves for love while most guys would not. Could this different mindset be one of the reasons why we find relationships so difficult?

I'd do anything for the man I love He is my world, my everything... I want him to be happy every moment of his life... He comes before me in everything... I'd give my life for him.... I'd die if I knew it would put a brief smile on his face... if I knew that life would be better for him if I were dead I'd do it without a moments hesitation. Yes, I would sacrifice myself for the one I love at the blink of an eye. No doubt:)
Yes,i would am very weak emotioned and when I start liking someone and they like me back and they treat me good I will fall in love very easily,and what counts in a relationship is how much of your love your planning on giving without thinking about how much your gonna get in return. Yes I am willing to sacrifice myself for love! I would kill myself for this guy that I really really love! I don't know if he loves me though. He says he does but who knows me more! Either way I would kill myself for him!
I already have. I gave all of me to my ex and lost myself somewhere. He took it, stepped on and I lost everything. I am having to start from scratch. So, I sacrificed myself for 7 years. I put him first in everything I did. Big mistake. Don't ever let someone take that much from you that you lose who you are. Love yourself more.
Yea I definitely would probably cause when you love - there is nothing in the world that will stop you from loving the person unless they cheat on you but that's another story but isn't it when you love - you care, you cherish and you believe anything is possible so I truly believe when you love there is nothing that you wouldn't do!
I chose yes because I was willing to sacrifice myself for love. There was not a doubt in my mind that I would take a bullet for my ex. I loved her so much. But are relationship went downhill. I would have given my life up until the day we broke up. I probably would have done it for a week after as well. Then I woke up. Would I sacrifice myself for love? Love for a girlfriend? Love for a parent? Love for a sibling? Love for a child? Yes. . .
I know it may be silly but I believe in something more than this silly life here on this planet. I would rather die giving my life for something I love then to die of old age.
