What would you think, if your girlfriend and you were having a random chat about the future, not specifically your future, and you asked her how many children she wanted off the top of your head, and she said five.
what would you say? what would you think?
'ta.

Update: it's just I've said this to a guy before and he almost had a heart attack. just wondering    6 months ago

I absolutely love children. I sort of raised my younger brother and I became the neighborhood babysitter. If she wanted them and agreed to not be upset when I have to work A LOT to provide for all of those children then I would be cool with it.

As long as you and the guy were financially secure and had a good home to bring them up in, I would see no problem with having 5 kids.. I mean, I know a few families with a large number of kids and it can be stressful at times, but still... I'm sure it is very rewarding and worth it. But if my girlfriend said five, I would say wow, that's quite a lot, but then I would also ask why she wants that many.

I mean I am going to school and hope to be financially stable and that's great and I want to be a father someday now you on the other hand would be the one dealing with that pain 5 times over so it'd be cool with me as long as you've got no problems

I would say goodbye. To me five children is five too many. I would make it clear from early on in the relationship that I don't want any children.

I like to have at least 3, but if they were 5 I wouldn't complain because I love to have a big family. I'm talking if I was married not just a short term relationship.

I'd think she's what to underestimating the way a child influences the own world. Even one child makes SO MUCH work... it's unbelievable :>
Oh and I'd say "i want 0 - lets meet in the middle - 2.5 - since a half is kinda impossible were rounding it down to two *g*"

Obviously that would require a lot of sexual activity, to have five kids. I think that's the gist of it. So yeah, he likes you plenty, or at least he wants you to think that.

HAHAHAHA! and why would the number 5 freak you out like this! lool

Do you know what should freak you out, if she is the kind that says, I don't want children at all, or I want just one, this is not a normal woman, this is a weirdo... but if a girl is open with you about these things, and discusses children with you, then this means she really sees her future in you, and feels that you are the one for her.

The number 5 means that she is serious about being in a real relationship, and she wants to be a mother, she might not probably make all of the them, but only the thought of it is a positive thing.

Answerer Sorry, I didn't pay attention that you are a girl at the first time, and didn't see that you are from europe, forgive my stupidness :) I think he freaked out because he isn't interested in marriage or having children, try to dig more on this if you are interested in this guy as long term relationship - 6 months ago

And I know because my sis has 2 daughters one is 5 and the other is 9 and her husband wanted 2 have one more/ the boy and they ended up having triplets 3 boys. They were born a month ago and if you see him he looks like a new person. He looks so happy and his eyes are so full of love and he has a special shine in them that no one can take away.
