I've been dating someone for two years. He recently moved into his new home, approximately 15 minutes away. We work in the same complex and we have mutual friends, although he has only been in the area 3 years. Our mutual friend is a girlfriend of mine, I've been knowing over 10 years. Our relationship isn't public due to the fact that we work in the same office complex and he services all areas of this complex. Of course my girlfriends know about us, but I've never told him they know. But I recently asked him what were his feelings, he said he thought we are very compatible, probably the only one who has been compatible. And some other things that I wanted to hear. Of course my friends disagree with my feelings for him. Long story short. The issue, is that he told our mutual friend that the girl across the street is hot, if he is thinking about having a serious relationship with me, why would he discuss that with our friends, but not that he is seeing me.
As you mentioned, he can't tell people you are dating because of the fact that you work together . (Now, telling another girl that she is hot would be a problem) . Chances are, he may not ever talk to the hottie; especially if he is crazy about you and has been a good boyfriend for the past couple years .
It may be wise to talk to him about this if you haven't already .
