Is my boyfriend's ex still into him?

Okay I been with my boyfriend now over 5 years, we have kids and I just recently became friends with his ex that was right before me . They were together for a little over a year . And now she seems like she's really trying to be my "best friend" forwards me things about loving me, I'm her best friend and that sort of thing . She also kinda creeps me out cause she asks questions about him, like how much he makes, where he works . And a couple times we were talking about the old days and I told her about a few situations where me and him use to try and make each other jealous . And she would ask who he was with and what they did . That kinda thing . But she insists he was a mistake and that she regrets ever going with him . So does anyone know what her deal is ? . Please give me some ideas .

Are you truly good friends with her? If so, you should trust her. If not, you should not hang out together.

If she's just an acquaintance, AND so investigative about your boyfriend, then your instincts are probably right; she's at least pondering what could have been.
