Do men feel its weird when being a approached by a female that has already introduced herself by name and there is some conversation, that later they become friends and she mentions she's married.

I know even though guys could be single, and probably noticed the women has a ring on.. do they feel weird trying to be their friends knowing they probably can't sleep with them.

I know the wife's husband would feel weird she made a friend that is male and indeed single unless he was a friend of a girl she knew. Which is normally the route to take when making a new guy friend.

I know with a new friend I made he seemed like friend material, but I felt awkward saying I'm married.. like it was a bad thing. I really only wanted a friend in the first place. But does that make him shy away from me cause of that. Should I feel awkward about it, or is it all said and done and he feels cool about it.

I'm more of a tom boy girlie girl. I get along with people and their interests.. but things don't always have to seem like its sexual. So I introduced myself. Should I feel I can't talk to him cause there is a weird tension now?

Well, guys and girls can just be friends so I don't see why there is a weird tension. Maybe he was looking for sex from the start and now he's not that interested in pursuing you for friendship either. You shouldn't feel weird if all you two are looking for is friendship.

If I was interested in a girl but she said she was married, it would depend on how much I valued the friendship.

I have two female friends who are married and we have a great platonic relationship. They are great for helping me out with my dating and overall good friends.

I also know that if I met a girl I wanted to just have sex with and she said she was married... I wouldn't be upset or thought she was rude, it's just how the cookie crumbled. I'd probably be a scumbag and show her I'm a nice guy and see if she'd introduce me to her single friends.
