What is Love?

Love is a feeling when 2 people find each other and that makes them happy, makes them feel safe, makes them feel comfortable, doesn't mind making sacrifices for the other, doesn't think twice about being with someone else, won't look at the other differently if they do something stupid or out of line, won't care for them any less if they make a mistake, if you're willing to work through problems, accepting who they are and loving them for who they are, being understanding with each other. Sometimes you don't feel it but that's normal. And you don't just say it, you have to show it sometimes. I was in a psychology class and I learned about marriage and love and relationships.

When I was in a relationship and listend to the song, I really thought ever single sentance made a whole lot of sense and really told me what live feels like.
anyways my definition of love:
love is when your heart beats faster whenever you think of. Love is when you have a huge exam tomorrow and you haven't started studying but you are willing to wait hours after school just so you could meet her and talk to her for five minutes before she goes on her bus. Love is when you bring her to a no-so-fancy restaruant but she would not mind.
You know you are in love when you chew on a bitter dark chocolate but the thought of her suddenly made the chocolate sweeter

Love is when you put forth the needs of your partner before your own.

Since I was never in love, I cannot answer the other question.

love is a feeling that you care more for anyone than ever before you want then and need them in your life. without them you feel empty wit them your full of joy and happiness love is soo many emotions its hard to explain. you will know it when you find it. but also love is also what makes many guys do things without thinking. they are willing to do things they would have never done before. or even fight their fears in help of their love.

now truelove that's a whole different issue is impossible to explain. its a feeling that's completely unique to each person and will make you feel like just saying I love you just isn't a great enough way to tell them how you feel for them. its truly wonderful and great and with true love you will get over any obstical in your way.

Now I'm not actually going to write a lot on this question, just throwing in something amusing a little child answered to this question:

Love is, when the person you love tells you that your t-shirt looks great, that you wear it every day!

Love is, when someone calls you by your name and it sounds just different!

You won't know until you experience. I had relationships and thought I was in love, but after my last relationship it was clear. Love is when you get past the stage where everything is new and you still get that feeling every now and again. You won't always have the new feeling, but you'll know you love the person without thinking about it. It's always there even when you're at the worst it will always come down to that you love them.

Love is sometimes something you don't realize you truly had until it's gone. Love is when you find someone and can't picture being with anyone else, even for a minute. You'd pretty much do anything for them, and even when they look their worst they look beautiful to you. And you get this strange happy feeling, like your heart is melting, but in a good way? it's strange, but wonderful. Nothings better.

Love is when you look at someone and realize that, although you could live without them, you'd never want to.

Love is when you would die for that person.
