Should I be ashamed ?

First off, they're just giving you a hard time. You're young and people do that. Don't worry about it. But as far as love, you're not in love. It's an infatuation. There is a big difference.

Don't ever be ashamed of your feelings. They are yours and yours alone and those people have no right to make fun of you for feeling very strongly about this. You liked him! And that's ok! And it's equally ok to cry about it or be upset about it or whatever you want.

You should never feel ashamed for liking some one must less missing some one. Just don't let your self get stuck missing some one and miss out on the next relationship you might have.
