I have total chemistry with this man at work, the problem is I am his boss. I know the taboo and all the don't ever go there jargon, and there is a lot of validity to that, my question is how do you deal with it. I have kept a secret for over a year and just cannot convince myself to not like this man, it is really difficult. Should I continue to put on a false mask should I go for it, what does one do?
Has he hinted as well that he likes you as well? This is a tricky one because rule 1 do not date coworkers, you better do a good job and get to know this person really really well before you put all your eggs in one basket
This IS hard, but I'm sure you know the answer. As his boss, you really, really, really should not do this. There are some options, but none of them are easy. You could get a different job in a different company, or maybe in a different part of the company if it's a large company (so you wouldn't be his direct boss any more). Stuff like that. But a boss who gets involved with an employee is asking for BIG trouble, as I'm sure you know. So don't do it. But, again, you know that already, right?
That is a tough one. Depending on the job does you have a lot of employees? Is there a lot of instances where you have to be on him about his job? Because if so, you would have a hard time with the whole thing it will change a lot of things at work and others might even think you give him special treatment. But if you think that your work environment can handle it, go for it girl. And I wish you lot's of luck.
I have about 20 employees I have actually given that department he works in its own supervisor so that I he will be reporting to him instead. Yes it is really difficult and that is why I have not pursued, maybe fate will take care of itself on this one. I keep hoping I will meet someone else that will make me finally stop thinking about him. - 5 months ago

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
Just hanging out, at someone's house, go to a movie, grab something to eat (nothing fancy, fast-food works for me ^_^), or the beach, anywhere works for me, or maybe even an activity planned, I dunno, I like spontaneity...im not sure what I'd wear, I'd try to look nice but I'm not going to wear uncomfortable clothing, and who knows how it would end...depends on how it went in the first place =]
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Depends on what we happen to get talking about on the date
