I have a boyfriend who claims to care for me and tells me he loves me, but when he is away he never calls. Sometimes it will go on for a few days. When he is home, he is with me but when he is away he hardly calls. What is up with this?
I'd say that he might be cheating on ya but then again.. when my dad was away at university in Russia and my mum was back at home, he only sent her like two letters a year and no phone calls at all (this was when they were 'going out'). Times might've changed tho
Out of sight, out of mind. You need to figure out what this guy is hiding. Is he not calling you because he's to busy partying or is he working? If he's out partying, this guy really has something he's hiding. I had a boyfriend like that and I ended up finding out he had a cocaine addiction, and on top of that he was cheating. Don't let this guy walk all over you. If he says he loves you he would not being keeping you in the dark while he's out and about.
I know how you feel I'm in that situation to. You might be thinking that he's cheating on you because that's what I thought of mine. But you should at least talk to him about it how you feel. You should never keep thoughts and feelings away from your relationship because the more you hold it in the more you going to get mad at the fact that he doesn't call and your going to be thinking wrong. And guess what that's what ends up relationships.
Girl if he doesn't keep calling you after you talked to him about your feelings ignore him as long as you can.

I'd say that he is seeing someone else. I'm sorry to say that but it's the only reason that makes sense. I've had that happen to me before and I was naive enough to think that he just wanted to hang out with friends and be alone. Nope, he didn't want to be alone. He wanted to be with this other girl that he was also seeing! I'm so glad that I didn't stay with that jerk.

Well it maybe that he thinks about some things that are diffrent, such as not you maybe sports or his away trip. Him not calling isn't a sign that he doesn't like you it is that he needs time "alone".

I think I use situations to start conversations...
If I'm approaching a female, I'd start by introducing myself, and following up with a compliment of why I had to introduce my self.
How do they typically respond?
If she is interested, she would ask questions, or make small talk while giving off some type of body language.
If she is not interested, she listens to whatever I say, and tells me something like she really into someone right now, but she appreciates the approach.
