First you should know that I've been in 2 long-term relationships in my life, each lasting about 2 years and they were back to back. They've taken up the past 4 years of my life basically. I'll be calling the first girl 'Courtney' and the second girl 'Abby'. Abby always had a hard act to follow because me and Courtney had a really hot relationship to say the least and the physical attraction was amazing. I'm not proud of it or anything but I did actually cheat on Abby with Courtney about 4 times. And I'm not talking about kissing. I always felt bad about it but to be honest with you, those 4 times were all 4 of the hottest experiences I've ever had in my life, and looking back at it I don't regret it at all (but that's also because me and Abby had a bad breakup and she wasn't little miss innocent herself). Well anyways, it was natural for me to want to immediately call Courtney right after me and Abby broke up. The only x-factor here is that Courtney now has a boyfriend whom she's been with for a semi-respectable 2 months (we'll call him 'John'). Well, I called her anyway. After some steamy phone conversations and other communication, we ended up hooking up, and it was just as hot as I'd imagined it (although not as thrilling as when I was the one who was cheating. Would you believe me if I told you I actually felt guiltier being the cheat-ee than being the cheater? ). This lasted about a week, while John was out of town. When he got back into town, she pretty much ignored me for like 2 weeks. Well just today, Courtney called me and came over, and we hooked up. Well, Courtney called me later that night and told me that John had came over to her house earlier and when she was in the bathroom he went through her phone and read about 4 text messages we had exchanged and basically stormed out of her apartment enraged. The text messages weren't that bad, though one that I sent her did say 'call me soon sexy' which I guess would piss me off if I was John, although Courtney insists to John that me and her are just friends, so there is the slight possibility of him believing that. Also, lucky for me she sent the first text so that makes me less of a bad guy. During this phone conversation she mentioned that when she is with me, she doesn't even think about John. This kind of troubled me and I didn't have much of a reply for her. This phone call unfortunately took place at an inopportune time since I was over at my buddy's house and I think I may have come off slightly rude and I wasn't able to really convey any emotion since there were others in the room. The call did seem to end on good terms though. I said I would call her back as soon as I left and she said "you should" very provocatively. Well I tried to call her back about 20 minutes later and she didn't answer or call back. The thing about it is, I wish her boyfriend had never found those texts. I don't want her to leave him for me, but I don't want to lose her as a companion. What do you think?
Wow it sounds like a soap opera from hell lol. I know how you feel, I've been there and trust me you want to get out as soon as you can. This will only come to bite you in the ass in the long run and it's not worth it. You and her are both players in a dangerous game. Maybe you should take a break from the serious relationship gig and just date and have fun with single girls. Get all of that out of your system before settling down again. You're gonna end up hurt and/or hurting someone else. I know you don't want that because you said you felt bad about being the cheat-ee, so I know you have somewhat of a conscience. She's loving this right now because she's having the best of two worlds: A guy that will f**K her at her convenience, and another guy that will f**K her and believe everything she says. I'd leave her be and find another companion when you're actually ready for one.
