Depending on what a bike ride entails, there may be a good opportunity to bring it up with him. To discuss it with him, together, and alone.
Of course you are nervous, I would be surprised if you were anything but. You are interested in him, what you need to do is to stop, think, and seriously consider his body language and his behavior and look for constant hints that he likes you.
As a side note, if his hints have been verbal in his affection, then he totally digs you and just hasn't made it clear yet. Whose Idea was the bike ride alone?
