If a guy said he hates you (....and never wanted you to talk to him again) what would he think if you stuck up for him (in front of him) when others were seriously putting him down and laughing at him? (obviously after he said he "hates" you)?

Depends on the situation, but most guys would like you for the support.

How old is this guy to say he hates you? If it were a younger guy I would guess that he really didn't mean the hate...guys can have a weird way of expressing/protection themselves. If he's an older guy and he said he hates you, could also be some form or protection from hurt or just being childish.

I agree with Rocket. It takes guts to do something like that and a lot of people will appreciate it. Though, appreciation and love are two different feelings, also keep that in mind.

I agree it takes guts. Sounds like you still have feelings for him. I hope he realizes that he might have said something that he should be regretting. Are you sure you really want to be around him?

When you stuck up for him he maybe realized you cared and realized that he doesn't hate, you no one hates anybody it's just a feeling of hate. Sometimes people say they hate you to hurt your feelings so you don't talk to them anymore

If he were intelligent, he'd think that you were a pretty incredible person to set aside any hurt feelings and stand up for someone you care about.
