Yes. Once you're sexually active you need to get tested every two years. Chlymidia (sorry I'm bad speller lol) is biggest STI in UK and it usually has no symptoms but can cause infertility in women. Other STIs are also on the rise like herpes which never go completely etc. And the biggie: HIV/AIDS.

Of course you should get checked for STIs but you need to use contraception regularly too and be informed of what STIs there are.

I only think it's insulting when you tell them periodically you've already been checked, only to be asked again to do it just for the sake of their assurance. I can understand it, really. But if I've been checked 3 times in the past two years and have not been active, I don't see how it can be anymore clearer.

Yes, but I'd only do it the once unless someone gave me reason to believe I may have contracted it.

If a girl asks for a STD test of any kind, Id be willing however if it was like a monthly thing, then yes, I would get p*ssed and refuse cus then she doesn't trust me. One time is fine though and no one should have a real issue with it. I know if I dated a girl who had previous partners Id want her to get tested and Id want to see the results, none of the "I already did, I'm clean" stuff unless I actually get to see the papers.

Well, PERSONALLY... if I had a girlfriend that wanted me tested, that would mean she absolutely doesn't trust or believe me when I say to her I'm a virgin. Ugh trust issues. I would at least demand her be tested with me.
