From personal experience, I'd say to just make sure your expressing your appreciation. In relationships that work out really well its easy to become to layed back. If he's really good to you, just be really good back. Put allot of thought into what you wear, what you watch, how his days going. Keep that flow going, make sure your not just along for the ride. Its amazing what a shoulder rub, a meaning full cuddle, and knowing your girl is trying her hardest to be "all there" will do to a guy. Why not make every day the special occasion?

i am in the same situation as you only I have a job. But, try not to over extend yourself on your options you can always make him something out of love and curiosity. The note stuff is cute, but it's more like something a girl would like. For a guy, the second you see him just go down on him. Really. Suck him off and say something like "I've wanted to do that for days." It'll make him feel special and wanted and loved. It's always really sweet to have a night in - you could find an easy recipe online and make it together (so at least if it turns out bad you can laugh about it) and then settle in and watch a movie of his choice. Sometimes the best gift is just being there and cuddling and letting him know you care.
