*Love * exists in high school?

Hell yea love exist lol. I've fallen in love and I'm in HS. To many people think infatuation is love, but there are people I know that were or are genuinely in love. Its hard to find though

yes love can exist. that's why we have highschool sweethearts who get married and stay together for life. but they are rare. only the kids ready for that in their life ever find it. but for the most part love comes after HS. most highschoolers experience lust as love. the word is just tossed around too easily. I don't tell a girl I love her until there's no doubt I would fight the world for her. and a lot of guys still in HS I'm sure say they love a girl to get in her pants. its interesting how a lot of girls the second they hear that word their legs spread. (not all but alot) but yes it is possible to love but more often than not you arnt in love...

All those plays of shakesphere and stuff like romeo and juliet and romantic movies don't work in real life.
Yes highschool is just lust and meaningless relationships.

The stuff that happens in movies doesn't work in real life. If I liked a girl and gave her flowers she would turn around and run.

I find people in my highschool just throw around the word "love" so carelessly its unbelievable. Really people? They just asked you out, this doesn't mean you're in love, this doesn't mean you're in a relationship.
Love is different for everyone, but its true, relationships in high school are mostly lust.

no, I believe that you need to fully know yourself before you can give yourself to another and fall in love. I don't think children would be able to do this. you change a lot between school and 25yrs.

I know a few couples that met in H.S. and are still together. But, its hard for me to understand that. I've changed so much since H.S. and can't imagine being with the guys I liked/dated back then!

i met a guy when I was about 14. was with him for a year and 9 months. I fell in love and no it wasn't the forever thing, but I know that I was love. we've been through so much and now after 6 years, we're still VERY good friends. there is NO DOUBT in my mind that it was love.
