Is very creative a good thing?

What?! That girl is crazy, haha, and definitely in the minority. I agree with AtomizerJr in that she might feel threatened by your talents in that aspect, which could be why she tried to put you down.

Creative is great. When it comes to gifts, I'd rather receive a gift that you put a lot of thought and creativity into than some generic gift that any guy would get for any girl. Giving a girl flowers is foolproof and always appreciated, but it's also SAFE. I'd be much more surprised and intrigued if someone took a risk and found/made a gift that took a lot of thought, and that is based more on my personality and interests. I would feel that that person really 'gets' me, if that makes sense. I'm attracted to creative individuals in general.

creativity is great...i don't see y someone finds that annoying...wat that tell me is that you care enough to plan something out or make it form your heart...plus if it's something kinda personal that you know I would like all the better...a lot of people lack the creative instinct these days and it, in my opinion, is awesome that you have the heart to do such things

Creativity is beautiful. Expressing yourself through the arts gives others a look into your soul and inner-most thoughts. Anyone who doesn't think so is a boring person, who is probably jealous of you or feels about about not ever having another person make things for them. Ok, how "creative" is ur creative? is it making vegetables look like her body parts? I think in general creative-ness is really cool but not when its crass or insulting. If its genuinely from ur heart and you had good intentions about it, then keep the creative juices flowing, why not :)

no way... creative is a good thing! It's better to get something that someone made, and obviously put some thought into instead of a nice necklace you bought at the store or something... when you've put some thought into something, girls usually like it... don't know what's wrong with your girl-friend... lol

My goodness, I would melt if a guy gave me something creative! You just keep that up no matter what anyone says!

it good maybe she's jealous, I mean I do the same thing and people usually really appreciate the thought and effort put in to make a gift just for them. I think you should keep doing what your doing. creativity is great embrace it for sure.

In general, creativity is good.

Some people, however, won't want you to be any more creative than they are because they're insecure and weak. When you do something creative, some girlfriends will say that's so kewl! Then they'll turn around and snipe at little details, tell you how you should've done it differently. I used to have a boss who'd _tell me_ that he valued by work, was impressed by my unusual ideas. But when it came time to actually apply my new ideas, he's shoot 'em all down, or wait until I was finished to tell me that I should've done it differently.

So don't take it personally when small-minded weaklings don't want to deal with you as an equal and try to drag you under...
