One thing to be careful about is getting infatuated with someone. You say you feel like you love her; however, a lot of times, feelings can be so intense that they become irrational. What do you talk about on yahoo and in class? If it is flirtatious, this could be a good sign; however, it sounds like she may be trying to let you know she only wants to be friends. You may want to just let things chill with her for a week or so (you know, don't avoid her, but try not to give her any special attention).
