My girlfriend and I have been going out for a while.
She is younger than me by 3 years. I know big age difference, but I love her and she says she loves me 2. One week one of my friends decides we should hang out along with a friend that likes her. (she lives in the same neighborhood)
So I decide to call my girlfriends and ask her to hang out with us most importantly, with me.
To my disliking, she acted completely different, she ignored me and only payed attention to me for some mere min. At times.
Before I left that day I kissed her(we usually make out before we leave)as I was to do so, she sort of moves and I ask her what's wrong, and so she just smiles and says no.
I leave disappointed. The next day my friend and I decide to go swimming with them at there pool. We go, then when we get back to her house she leaves her phone near me. Like any curious guy or girl we decide to see who she has been talking to. (im not nosy, I don't know what made me look at her phone) to my disappointment I notice a message which she send to one of her best friends that read the following. "we still like each other, and he still tells me he loves me" The message after read "I like them both, but my ex lives further away. (she still messages her ex btw, she likes being friends with her ex's. )
Being me, I don't like to make drama. So I just left it alone. The thing that bothers me is that she tells me she loves me that I'm everything to her, but if that was true then why does she still like her ex?
Today I invited her and things got awkward, we pecked and held hands,talked and hugged, but no making out still. Before she left I asked her why she didn't make-out with me anymore. All I got was that she just doesn't feel like it because of her depressions lately (btw she always depressed, I'm trying to help her out by distracting her with other things to do, she hates her life and wishes she went alive sometimes. ) for about 2 weeks now but the thing is that she just barely did this 3 days ago.
So asked her another question "how come you just started doing this, 2 days ago, I'm getting the idea that you don't like me anymore. " That sort of made her move away and replied, "i do like you. Why would you say that" So I told her about the past 3 days where I felt like she was pushing me away and well, what did she expect me to think.
I apologized for acting so stupid and also for thinking that. i left her bugged about this, but we pecked one last time before saying "i love you"
The thing is she is in middle school and is about to enter high school, her ex goes to the same school as she does so I'm guessing they see each other at the halls from time to time.
So my questions is, do you think she will leave me for her ex if they are to see each other alone one day? She has told me that she would never cheat on me, but sometimes love makes you do so.
What can I do to not screw things up?
I'm confused, I want to know how to get things back to normal.
I'm kinda in the same situation as you are. Like u, I didn't really do anything, and feeling very insecure. Sorry, I couldn't give you an answer, but, at least, we have the same problem.
