Ok now my girlfriend and I are gonna be dating for 8 months now. In the beginning we really were going on like a bunch of teenagers. We were both really totally in love. I am still in love with her but it feels as if that spark is gone. How do you put that back. How do you show someone that you truly love them with all that is in you.
Don't feel discouraged. It's natural for that dizzy, in-love feeling to fade out after a little while. It doesn't mean you're not in love anymore, it just means that the chemicals in your brain that make you feel that way are wearing off (or actually you're getting used to them and they don't have the same effect anymore).
But this doesn't mean that the romance and passion in your relationship has to fade. The best way I've found to keep things alive is to think each day "what can I do today to make my partner's day a little brighter? " You'll find that when you start doing these things (whether it's giving her a foot massage, or making her dinner, or just giving her a compliment) she'll want to reciprocate and before you know it you'll be back on cloud nine.
