There are two things going on here when a man is found attractive by other women. First off, it shows preselection which is a huge cue that often sparks attraction in other women to a certain extent. Second, jealousy is a powerful emotion that can cause women to be possessive, catty, etc if the man they're with is being pursued by other women. This is a good thing because jealously is THE best way to force the realization a woman finds the man attractive. It can be used for good or bad though. Using it to speed a relationship along or make a woman snap out of a funk is a good cause for creating jealously though. Just doing it for kicks or because you like to see a girl squirm, not so much.
